If you want to study at USC

We’re delighted you are interested in studying at USC. If you want to study at USC as an undergraduate or an MS student, please visit the undergraduate or graduate admissions site as appropriate for further information. If you are considering applying to USC for a PhD in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering and are interested in our lab’s research, please mention this explicitly in your PhD application.

If you are enrolled at USC already

If you have been offered admission to or are a USC  student already enrolled in either the Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering PhD program and have an interest in joining our lab, please email Gaurav.

If you are a USC student enrolled in one of our MS programs and have an interest in joining our lab, please know that we typically advertise from time to time when we have projects on which we would like to engage MS students. Currently, we don’t have any such openings. When we next have such an opening, it will be posted here, along with instructions on how to respond.

If you are a currently enrolled USC undergraduate and are interested in joining our lab, please apply to the CURVE program. When we have projects suitable for undergraduates, we list them there.

If you are not currently enrolled at USC but want to intern with us

Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume of requests we receive, we are not able to offer internship opportunities in our lab directly. We do accept a limited number of interns but only via one of the USC internship programs – for high school students seeking intern research experience, please explore our SHINE and SURE programs, undergraduates at universities other than USC are encouraged to apply to our Robotics and Autonomous Systems REU program or to one of our collaborative programs, such as the Viterbi-IUSSTF program or the Viterbi-Tsinghua program.
